I am focusing on CB and Safety (both SS and FS). These are my top picks in both positions:

CB

Dee Milliner Alabama 6'1" 198
Desmond Trufant Washington 6'0" 186
Johnathan Banks Mississippi State 6'1" 185
Xavier Rhodes Florida State 6'1" 217
Logan Ryan Rutgers 6'0" 190

SS
Jonathan Cyprien Florida International 6'0" 210
Matt Elam Florida 5'10" 202 2

FS
Kenny Vaccaro Texas 6'1" 218
Eric Reid LSU 6'2'' 212
Phillip Thomas Fresno State 6'1" 215

I am not ruling out the need to fill other positions, particularly RT on the OL, as well as the view to select the best next available player but with the results and stats from last year my priorities are clear. Wink

I may not be able to be active in the board these days due to work but I am watching you, guys. Choose wisely. Laughing

Erik "EJ" Manuel Jr. is a 6’4", 237 lb. Red shirt Senior, ranked 6th out of 146 Quarterbacks nationally and the 61st overall prospect in the 2013 NFL Draft. His pre-Combine 40 Time is listed as 4.67 seconds. He is currently projected as a 2nd round pick in April’s draft.

EJ’s size will make scouts drool and thus drive him up the draft boards. He is the one of the most accurate QB’s in FSU history with a 66.1 completion percentage. His pocket presence as well as his speed and elusiveness as a runner puts him right up there as one of the top Quarterbacks in the country going into the national Scouting Combine.

Just throwing out another name as a back-up for the Captain besides Rex.

I'm pretty sure we won't be drafting a QB this year. There'd have to be someone really great, that everyone else passed on until the sixth or seventh round. And even then, it'd be real hard to pull that trigger.

Will Montgomery has proven himself a pretty darned good Center... I don't think Center is on the radar...

I think it is if we can get someone who can start Day 1. Will costs is $4M this year and we're strapped for cash.

Also, we don't have a true backup at center. If we can get a good one, we should. IMHO.

David Amerson CB , N.C. State, 6-3 , 200lbs

He is big, tall and fast. Physical cornerback who had a good combine workout. He may go in the first or second round.
