And, Danny Smith is still a liability. The directional kickoffs were horrid.

So, now you're on the bus with the reasonable people. Danny had Gano kicking high, kicking to the corners, and he struggled at it. Kia, who only has about half a season's worth of experience is being asked to coffin corner kick and he had three kicks that were very close to going out and one of those three did.

So is that his fault? He is being asked to do something that he doesn't face a lot of experience doing. 2 of the 3 worked out (mostly by luck), but they still worked out. However, if the ball had bounced slightly differently on either of those then you have 2 or 3 of 3 that went out of bonds and some people would be killing Kia.

It's on the kicker if he can't do it. But, the coach for asking him to do it knowing he can't. It reflects much worse on Gano because he could kick it through the end zone. So, at worst, he should have been kicking touchbacks to a corner, or a shallow kick that's returned from the edge.

But, everyone--even his college coaches--knows that Kai struggles to kick it to the end zone even straight. We all know the shortest distance between two points is a straight line. So, why would Danny ask him to kick it directionally when he knows it's gonna fall even shorter near the sidelines??

The returner could almost just it bounce out. It's common sense.

Dude, sorry bout that...........never saw your post.

But yeah, I would LOVE to see a repeat of Skins vs. Broncos Super Bowl.

NOt so much for the Manning thing..........but for Shanny to "stick it" to Bowen (but maybe they're still friends)

We said bold, right?

Yes, bold. Not insane.

We already have a fullback and a water boy. No need for TIMMY.

Agreed. But wherever Timmy goes some things need to be true. He either needs to be the man or he has to go some place where their is already an unquestioned man - like here. Also, we run his offense. Maybe Timmy could compete at TE.

We clinch a playoff spot this week with a big win and just a little help from our NFC friends.

The Saints and Cardinals are my friends this week if they can win. And Minnesota can be my friend if they lose.

Did they vote against Mara?

That's what I thought. Screw them all. The only ones we can rely on are Dallas... beginning one week from next Monday.

Even if we beat philthy the pukes game is a must win isn't it?
Or- can we slip in if ny and dullass both lose, and we lose week 17?
I need to play w the generator... The only thing better then sweeping the pukes in reg season to win the east, would be to lose resting starters and knock them out of the playoffs! Twisted Evil

..wouldn't we be back in a tie with both if we lost week 17 and they won? Tie going to dullass?

That's right. We can't clinch the division this week, but we can clinch a playoff spot.

As long as the Giants lose one more game this year, whoever wins the Dallas-Washington wk 17 match will be NFC East champs.
