He got a two year deal and will compete with Chad OchoCinco, Julian Edelman, Deion Branch, Anthony Gonzalez, and Donte' Stallworth behind starters Wes Welker and Brandon Lloyd, in a city that's not new to him.

Bottom line - we're getting younger and newer. It's hard to kick old habits, but releasing veterans instead of signing them all the time is a welcome change.

That said, the Redskins have done well to keep the most important veterans on the team: Cooley, Moss, Fletcher, D-Hall (many may disagree, but I believe this guy bleeds burgundy & gold), and several linemen on both sides.

LOL. I was just thinking the same thing. Are we like a farm team for the Patriots or something these days??
