Better to be underwhelmed than be a Seahawks fan, though, don't you think? Laughing

Surely, the very definition of underwhelmed is to be a Seahawks fan?

The Seahawks new unis look like a cross between Arena Football and the Oregon Ducks.

I actually like the Ducks unis. The darker ones, not the neon top.

If it were up to me, we'd put more real Gold in our unis. Gladiator style. Laughing

Take that look and put it on the Skins Facemask, stripes, and other accent places where we use Yellow right now.

A subtle change that would make a huge difference and keep the integrity of the unis. Burgundy & Gold

Not Yellow

Oregons uniforms are good sometimes, others, not so much. Those Rose Bowl helmets were sick though.

I really liked the uniforms VT wore vs. Boise st. at fedEx for a change of pace too. I'm just not sure how you would work that in with the Skins color scheme.

Might this be an "alternate concept" uni?

This is a good look.

I'm in favor of employing more of a metallic or flourecent GOLD on the accents parts. Like the cleats, gloves, & stripes.

Like this

There are ways we can modernize our uniform's look while maintaining the integrity of our tradition.

Keep the Gold Pants, Burgundy Top Look. And, add more metallic embellishments on the Gold. And, we're in business. We are the Burgundy & GOLD. Not yellow. Let's go for the gold.

Maybe, if you are truly only talking about the accent parts. But the metallic gold pants they wore in the 70th anniversary season (and that picture above) just reminded me of Dallas. Puke I so much prefer the '70s gold pants, but I agree, today's gold pants are a little too yellow, and not enough gold.

COMMENT: Which current Redskins player do you think will be sporting the new look?

I'm curious to see the new "throwback" unis. I wonder how they plan on using them this year? I'm assuming the Thanksgiving day game, but will they wear them for any home games as well?

i'm totally on board with everyone saying they'd like to swap all the yellow for a true metallic gold color; i've been hoping for that for years. it actually looks like the trim around the numbers looks metallic-goldish on the new unis; no idea why they don't switch out all the yellow. would be SO SO much better/cooler.

someone said they hated the "metallic gold" pants worn for the 70th anniversary season; those weren't metallic gold, at all. they were like, mustard yellow or something.

That was me, and yes they were metallic. They reminded me of Dallas' pants, only a better color. There's a picture posted above (Son of Washington) showing these pants. I want the gold pants of the '70s look. Like the ones worn by Larry Brown.

Yes, cool drawing, but I don't quite understand the Viking either. Hmm
I think that the Eagles are in the upper left hand corner.
