I think the current cap position and Fletcher's new deal, flip-flops Moss and Gaffney

sorry - does this mean - you think, IF they only keep 6 - Moss stays and Gaffney goes?

Embarassed I'm a little slooow this week

I don't really care what he tweets!!!

We have to keep our best WRs and Gaffney is our second best and that is by a slim margin over Garcon. So if we add Garcon and release Gaffney we really have only added youth (and more of a cap hit) and we really haven't improved or WR corps.

I say we keep our best six guys (or best five and Banks).

We can't just add a younger player that has produced the same as the older player and call the a big inprovement, because it isn't.

It's a few teams that might part with a day 3 pick for a veteran WR coming off a productive year. Tampa and Jacksonville come to mind,

He's in the last year of his deal, so they should try to get something while they can, and a trade for a pick will allow the guys drafted last year to get more reps.

What did I miss? Trying to find it but I have no clue. What did he tweet or twitter?

I would hate to see our most productive receiver last year go. He is a Redskin now but maybe I missed something.

He brought it up in the article about how the Skins told him not to come to the voluntary workouts. But he didn't sound too convincing that it was actually hacked. Makes me wonder...

Less than a month has pasted and there's time for a update.

With Paul saying the move to TE is a permanent move and Gaffney being shopped or chopped, they may only have six or seven WR on the roster going into camp. And Banks may have to play WR.

Top six, no real need to carry seven

Pierre Garçon
Joshua Morgan
Leonard Hankerson
Santana Moss
Anthony Armstrong
Brandon Banks
Aldrick Robinson will still go back to the PS and Terrence Austin is the odd man out

Based on the past, but clearly the coaches think Garcon is not just younger but still getting better and obviously Gaffney is not. If you disagree with them then it's fine, your opinion. But to just assume they are wrong is silly.

Even five plus Banks plus three pass catching TE's (assuming Davis, Cooley, Paul) is too much. I'd still be looking for one more cut personally. It was silly carrying as many as we did last year when we only had two plus Banks who played regularly.

No way Niles Paul beats out Banks. No way.
