Nice read. Griffin at QB and the WR he suggests would be awesome. So would the KC corner and a stud OL guy in free agency.

+!

Redskins top offseason priorities:

1. QB
2-17: OL
18-whatever: that other stuff

don't get me wrong that other stuff is important; i just think we are basically a QB and OL/OL depth away from being at least pretty competetive

Thanks. It appears we are on our way. Now let's get a WR, OL, and a CB/S.

No - being the first to say we should target RGIII. I think props go to Trey though he may have simply been joking.

Only he can say.

#4 should be "secondary", not just corner. Atogwe was a major bust last season and we have no idea if Landry will be back. Gomes was ok, but he doesn't look like a starter. We have issues at both safety and corner.

We just resigned Gano so I don't think we'll do anything there. But I agree with previous post about the need for both CB and Safety.

If I'm the Redskins GM I am going after the following Free Agents:

Vincent Jackson WR
Carl Nicks OG
Brent Grimes CB
Geoff Schwarts OT
Jason Smith OT
(if he is a cap casualty as expected)

As an alternative to Carl Nicks, I would look at Ben Grubbs

As an alternative to Vincent Jackson, I'd look at Marques Colston or Braylon Edwards.

I say Oline is first priority now that we have a QB.
I say we grab two free agent guards. I would say go after one of the top guards offering a decent contract Carl Nicks/Benn Grubbs or Evan Mathis these are the young guards who probably want a 4 to five year deal.

Also we should sign Steve Hutchinson. At age 34 he would probably be able to be signed cheap. However he was still very solid last year for the Vikings. I think his leadership would be great for this Oline. In fact I think if Mike Shanahan were smart he would get Hutch ASAP.

After Oline then I would get a wide receiver. Most think that we need a wide receiver first. I actually think we have plenty of talent already. We have a top tight end in the young Davis and even the vet Cooley. Moss, Armstrong and the other young guy are decent. Most of our problems last year was the Oline and QB. So yes wide receiver is a priority but I think it is no.2. Colston, Jackson or any other decent wide receiver should do.

After wide receiver I say Nose tackle should be upgraded. We have a good front but not a true nose tackle. We need a true nose tackle. There are a couple good run stuffing nose tackles who are free agents. We could pick up a free agent or draft one.

THen I say the secondary needs some playmakers. Corners are usually expensive and good ones are also hard to find in drafts. So we probably would have to pay to get a good one. I would love to get rid of Hall already. I want a more reliable cover guy. Wouldnt mind getting Rogers back either.

Yeah Rogers is all but a memory. Just would like a physical cover guy. I could live with a decent cover guy who cant make the interception for a reasonable contract. I dont think we could afford to get the big time corner. I believe the big time corners contracts rival franchise Qbs.

Terrell THomas is available. We could give him an incentive based contract? He is good but gets injured. Shawn Springs was like that he did very well for us.
