Crawford DONE for season...
this according to ESPN radio reporting what Shanny said....

Sucks for him. He came on strong at the end of last season. If he's focused and dedicated, he can make the roster again next year here.

For the man this is a big set back and I wish him nothing but the vest in his recovery...
For the TEAM, like riggo pointed out, this isn't much of an issue.
I like Crawford and he has played well, but the return game can be handled by the likes of Thompson or Robinson... And the cb depth may very well have Murphey in the running now.
It crazy to finally have depth.. I kept thinking while I was watching the game, as did t
joeyT, we will be cutting a lot of solid players to get down to 53.

That's too bad. It didn't even look that bad when he hurt it.
We really needed depth there, though I'm a lot less worried about losing corner depth than I am safety depth.

It was said during the game he tweaked it in practice...

Aha. I definitely missed that, because I keep the volume just low enough so that I can't tell what the announcers are saying (but I still get a little crowd noise).

They said that as he grabbed his knee... and limped off the field.
