welcome back JT

I think we're in for another really good game - appreciate the thoughts on Morris against your run D but ...

don't you think that Ben and his pass catchers are also looking forward to playing against our secondary ...
We are very fortunate to have Kirk Cousins but Griffin has a huge upside IMO

Robert needs to continue to get better and to do that he needs time on the field - hopefully sooner than later

Morris should be a Probowler this year!

He reminds me of Larry Brown.

Morris currently in some elite company:
3 eventual HOFers
2 other Shanny-coached RBs
(one of) the greatest current backs

Hell, lower his YPC to 4 and he's STILL in a small group.

Only 1 other rookie has rushed for 1600+, averaged 4.5+ per carry, and scored 13+ rushing TDs...some guy named Eric Dickerson.

He finished the year second to only Adrian Peterson in Yards & TDS. How he didn't make the Pro Bowl is a joke.

Alfred Morris is a unique player. He doesn't run like anyone I've ever seen. The closest would be Terrell Davis IMO.

Frank Gore  I understand being behind AD and Lynch, but Gore?

I know. People must have literally just picked whoever's name they recognized. Gore had a pedestrian season. Doug Martin had a better year than him. Morris should be the primary backup to AP in Hawaii.

The pro-bowl snub given Morris is now an embarrassment to electors. He's clearly become the no. 2 RB in football second only to Peterson, ahead of Lynch and certainly ahead of Gore. What's more, he's the Skins all-time rushing leader in history, best rookie rusher ever, except maybe Jim Brown and Eric Dickerson, and should be ROY just behind RG3. Any questions about his durability and endurance have been put to rest by his 16 games without injury and his incredible performance against the Cowboys. Check out his stats and records. Beyond belief.

Agree, but hopefully it gives Morris some driver for next year, although based on what I know about him I don't think he cares too much about how many pro bowls he makes....
RIP Sean Taylor. You will be missed.

George Rogers is also on that list. Amtrak Al (thank you Mike Wise) is top 5 though.

Why all the fuss about the Pro Bowl? the Pro Bowl has a history of not including players that should have obviously been selected

The Pro Bowl is NOT a recognized "award" for good play over an NFL season

THIS IS A POPULARITY CONTEST

NOT being invited to the Pro Bowl means ABSOLUTELY NOTHING
We are very fortunate to have Kirk Cousins but Griffin has a huge upside IMO

Robert needs to continue to get better and to do that he needs time on the field - hopefully sooner than later

Not exactly true. Many players have incentive bonuses tied to being sent to the Pro Bowl.

So it could impact Al, who makes very little comparatively as a 6th round rookie.

Good point. Don't know if he had such a clause but ...

5/6/2012: Signed a four-year, $2.223 million contract. The deal included a $124,000 signing bonus. 2012: $390,000, 2013: $480,000, 2014: $570,000, 2015: $660,000, 2016: Free Agent

His game checks are 23 K.

Players are paid for participating in the Pro Bowl with the winning team receiving a larger payout. In the 2011 season, a record $50,000 was awarded for a win versus $25,000 for the losers.
