Why so many Boys fans

Postby DEHog » Mon Dec 15, 2003 7:13 pm

:x I'm sick and tired of going to the games and seeing so many fans of the opposing team there! If you don't want to go to the game give up your tickets. I drive a hour and a half to all the games. Don't tell me it's to cold, don't tell me you had plans, if you get tickets plan on being there, if not give or sell them to a SKINS fan!!! We say we want a winner, but we don't support it. Yesterday was a great example, had to be at least 30,000 Boys fan there. Way to much blue!!

And it didn't help that the only fans that stuck around until the 4th quarter were those Cowboys fans.

I don't think I have ever seen a Redskin game have so many empty seats in the 3rd quarter... regardless of inclement weather. It was nearly surreal.

By the way... welcome to the board.
Sean Taylor was one of a kind, may he rest in peace.

My mom and I left in the third quarter. I think that's the earliest we left a game. I wanted to stay. I just got sick and tired of not being able to feel my hands and toes while watching my team get slaughtered and being surrounded by cowboy fans. I always hear it at school whenever the Skins lose, especially when the cowboys beat us. There are so many friggin cowboys fans here and i can't stand it. Most of them are just redskin haters and don't know a lick about the cowboys. I know more about the cowboys then they do. Most of the "cowboys fans" like other teams, too. I can't stand it when they have more than one favorite team. Those types of fans don't count when it comes to football, imo. Just thought I'd tell everybody the crap I deal with when I go to school. I hate my school!

I agree with ya there, Jake. I have a "fair-weather" Cowboy friend. When the Cowboys sucked, he all-of-the-sudden became a quasi-Giants fan.

Whatta cop out!

You'll never see me shed my beloved Skins no matter how bad they suck!!!

Yes....Jake and I left at the end of the third quarter....We NEVER leave early....BUT...it was freezing....wet....and just pure yuk...not to mention the Skins were giving us NO REASON TO STAY. You would have thought that knowing we were all out there in that mess...they would have TRIED to do SOMETHING for US !! We couldn't even keep warm by CHEERING....only thing to Cheer about was Barkers Pass for a 1st down. But....I have a set of Philly tix that will sit in my nightstand drawer before I would sell them to a Philly Fan....so if any Skins fans want to go to that game...Let me know !!

Hail Skins....maybe NEXT YEAR !!

I didn't suffer the cold of the game live, but did suffer by watching it beginning to end on TV. It made me sick.

Puke fans are always "front-runners". When they're winning, they're all over the place. When they're losing, they cannot be heard of or found. You wouldn't believe all the freakin' "star" bumper stickers popping up on the autos down here. Makes me mad just driving to work! :(

You know what is worse than that TX? I see the star pop up all over the place here in Virginia. Every time I see a person pop up with that damn thing on a hat or a shirt I wanna smack 'em in the forehead with a rolled up newspaper and tell them "Bad person" - this is supposed to be the Skins state... this and Maryland. I hate it when we lose to the ugly scuzzes twice in a year.
